According to the data released by Baotou Steel on April 6, in the first quarter of this year, Baotou Steel produced 2.52 million t of the iron production, up 5.03% year on year. Meanwhile the steel output reached 2.55 million t, rising by 3.49% year over year. And the billet output came to 2.47 million t, raising by 5.06% year over year. In addition, during the given period Baosteel also exported 0.2311 million t of the billet products, up 11300 t year on year.
